Considering that I was already a regular customer, I believe there could/should have been some action to see what was up before just cancelling my purchase and selling the item. The option was on the site to mail a check, which I had done. The delay from the Post Office's end was out of my hands, and the check arrived on the day that they sold the penguin out from under me. I was not really happy.
It happened a long time ago, but was the reason I stopped being a religious buyer of YPS stuff. But it is over and I have said my piece on it.

Bullionstacker bars even have their own specific serial list. Ericson mint bars poured by YPS also have a special serial list. YPS also pours for other companies and I'm sure they have their own followers as well. Yes, there's some crossover, but these lists are different, and they change over time. So if an occasional bar goes to the wrong person I don't think it's fair to refer to YPS as kinda crappy. And that's my .02.

Put yourself in SilverKid's shoes for a minute...how would you feel if that happened to you, honestly? I don't think any of us would be thrilled if our order was cancelled and resold without being contacted first - you are lying if you say you would be ok with it. I am going by what SilverKid shared. Are you saying that he lied? Picking up the phone could have simply avoided all of this and I stand by what I said - it was crappy not to contact a loyal customer first. Your book doesn't mean squat to most of us so not sure why you insist on getting the last word.
