Old whiskey..

Postby Diggin4copper » Tue Oct 01, 2019

Any good? Johnnie Walker black label 1980s from the Virgin Islands. Does it go bad? Found a few other bottles in a cellar. A few were open, been sitting for 30 years..

40% alcohol should kill anything, I would use my best judgement the less in the bottle. it the more air which is more germs. If its not expense stuff i would just toss it not worth the belly ache. got any Luis the XIII? 3k at costco lol

Ask yourself if you think a rummy would drink it. Then drink it yourself.

It will not go bad, especially if sealed. I’m interested in any other bottles you might have found down there.

Probably not a good idea. Shipping alcohol through the USPS is illegal. Fed Ex and UPS will do it but they have special rules. Shipping alcohol with any carrier is illegal to Texas. Not sure about other states.

That older OGD is good stuff. No value since it has already been opened, but should be a tasty pour!

So, can we bid and buy with UPS or FedEx?

I guess so, I awaiting a sealed bottle of Johnnie Walker Red, and a bottle of Dewars. It will be a cold day in Hell if I open them up.

UPS & FedEx deliver Absinthe infused with marijuana from Europe, although I believe Absinthe (with or without marijuana) is illegal in the USA. Some of that Absinthe has 20% marijuana. A couple of shots of that and you're down for the night! The Green Lady will kick your azz.

Of course, this transaction didn"t happen on this website.
