Trackchair Rolling Auction Donations Request CLOSED

Postby MaxGravy » Sat Jan 05, 2019

EDIT:
This is now closed. Two auctions are scheduled for Saturday and Sunday February 9 & 10, 2019 at 5pm pacific/8pm eastern both nights.

We need donations for a Rolling Stop Auction to raise money for the Trackchair Project.

Items donated will be bundled into lots and then auctioned off here on Bullionstacker.

You will need to ship them to me. I will gather the items, run the auction and cover shipping to the winners.

Please post your items in this thread or send me a PM if you'd like to remain anonymous.

Time and date to be announced. For more info on Rolling Stop Auctions, see this thread.

I have #49 of the 2 ounce BS pentagon bar I bought specifically to benefit this project. I will see if I can dig up some other items and let you know. Maybe some small yellow.

No donation is too small. Everything will be grouped into lots. I have a handful of fun things to mail just to make Randy’s job interesting. ;)

Friendly bump, I am sure this was easy to miss in the midst of the KSAs. I am planning to put a little box together tonight if I get off work early enough

Any donation no matter how small is greatly appreciated. Even a couple silver dimes tossed in an envelope with a stamp would be awesome. The more the merrier. I'd love to see more folks participate.

We're working to make this auction as fun as possible. There will be big lots and small lots. Something for everyone, including freebie contest prizes and more.

Some really cool stuff has already been donated including a 1oz MS70 Gold Eagle!

All of the lots will be photographed and posted in advance of the auction. The time and date are yet to be determined but we should schedule it soon. Perhaps run a poll to make sure we include as many folks as possible.

If things work out, I'll do a live pondcast during the auction, describe the items, tell jokes and make funny noises. Two hours of that should really get the bids up!

I'll donate that Red Label Engelhard that Mr Doge didn't win
I'm sure there is a thing or 2 more I can add.

Where should this be sent?
Gentlemen prefer Engelhard.

The live pondcast is working out. A volunteer has stepped forward to co-host, someone with experience, and a microphone.

Nate has volunteered to post the items and Splunky will keep track.

The proposed date for this Rolling Stop Auction is Sunday February 10th at 8pm eastern

We'll continue to accept donations for a few more weeks.

Big thanks to everyone who has donated so far. The items are already starting to arrive and there are some extremely cool pieces. I'm always humbled by the generosity of this community. This is going to be a big event that will go down in BS history.

The Pondcast is a go! We'll be streaming live before and during the auction. Figurehead is co-hosting and he'll be here live in the studio.
