Yanny vs Laurel

Postby jcz1 » Wed May 16, 2018

I can't believe this hasn't made it here to BS yet, but now it has. It's the audio version of the dress that was either white/gold or blue/black:

I hear laurel.

"Laurel" w/o a doubt.

EDIT: I listened to jcz1's link and on the very lowest frequency version I can kind of hear "Yanny"

The CNN video plays it with different frequencies, which seems to change what people hear.

Laurel. But I am a large person and sing bass, so the low freqs resonate better with me
I prefer payment in crypto: LTC, ETH AND BTC. Also accept Google Wallet, Zelle , Postal Money Orders, and Personal Checks. Shipping prices do not include insurance. If you want insurance/registered mail, it's always extra.

Weird. I just cleared all my cookies, then clicked on the CNN link. The only cookies I have now are from open windows/tabs.

And now I have to sign back into multiple gmail accounts, BS, ebay, etc - arg!

I hear Yanny, so I'm hearing the higher frequencies. I thought it was the higher frequencies that we could hear less and less as we age. Maybe it's both.

I've tried several versions as well as my girlfriend and we both hear "Yammy" right now. But that's not a choice.

Ran Avast cleaner before I got on as my son is home from college and he picks up all sorts of garbage from his free late night gaming sites. Went to BS. Sent a PM to a member here, saw this, clicked, listened, thought "what a waste of time," clicked back and read Randy's post, went back to Avast cleaner had almost 3K tracking and other cookies. Cleaned again. Thought "~sigh~" see first thought.
"If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent," Credited to Goebbles.
