It is a multi metal piece, The base is 50 ounces of brass, the anvil is 8.8 ounces of shibuki ( the Japanese metal used to make swords 75% copper, 25%silver) the sword is 6 ozt of sterling silver and the leaves are 32 grams of copper and 17 grams of sterling, each piece is removable and the leaves are 2 vines that have 4 different holes they can be set in so it is fun to play with.

Unbelievable piece, congrats! This might be a dumb question, but how do you add the hole to the anvil? It looked like it was poured solid.

Thank you, It was poured and then drilled, the hole is also in the rock base so the sword actually secures it all together.
