I recorded unbeknownst to her 90 minutes of pure insanity. The conversation that ensued from her telling me to take my flag down. If anyone knows how to get it from ipad recorder app copied I will post it here.
You would not believe the insanity.
She is a pristine shining example of every wacky progressive stereotype there is.

You have to "thread lightly" when recording other individuals, some laws are cruel (vary from state to state but in Ca you have to have both parties permission)
Generally when I am planning to record a phone conversation with a "business" their voice message warns me that " this call MAY be recorded" for whatever bs reason they want to give. Sounds like they are giving me mutual permission

After going back and reading a few previous posts: she sounds like a complete waste of oxygen.

Re: BS Banter-For the drivel that belongs no where
just got home, decided that with an entire free day of no kids (so I thought), I would head to the casino for a couple hours. While there, I got an email for extra work (didn't apply for this) for my daughter, looking for kids for a new movie tomorrow, at Wrigley Field. Cool. Also this morning on a lark, I contact a new casting company for a 7-9 year old girl for a fast food commercial, they request pics in a follow up. While finishing up at the Mississippi Stud table, I get their message that they want Jadyn to audition Friday afternoon.
wow for my little sweetie.
So I called her and she picked the audition with no pay, vs. guaranteed pay and a visit to Wrigley.
She likes the idea of a Happy Meal, soccer and being seen in a national commercial if they pick her.
Gotta love her as she chose the bigger chance vs. the guarantee.
And now I get her back this evening, thought she was staying at her mother's house

Yes. I told my dad I recorded it. He said he wouldnt waste the battery on it.
I told my dad I jotted down some notes for what I want to say if or when she kicks me out. He told me to just say bye. I think I will take his advice.
I thought of my landlord like family before. This has truly been a life changing experience.

What state are you in? If you're in Virginia it is a one party consent as long as that party is involved in the conversation. So basically, you can be recorded by anyone you're having a conversation with.

Re: BS Banter-For the drivel that belongs no where
1 in 4 Americans suffer from these symptoms on an at least once a week basis. In 2006 over $10 billion was spent on acid reflux/GERD drugs.
In terms of preventing acid reflux heartburn, meat and high-fat meals cause dramatically more acid exposure in the esophagus in the hours after a meal. Repeated over time can ultimately lead to acid irritation-induced esophageal cancer. A diet with increased fiber may reduce the risk of reflux in the first place. The most protective (for acid irritation-induced esophageal cancer and Barrett's esophagus) sources appear to be carrots, tomatoes, spinach, chard, berry juice, apples and citrus. It is thought/ possible eating the healthy foods crowds out or assists with eating less healthy foods.
Decreasing consumption of foods thought to contribute to reflux by decreasing the pressure of the lower esophageal sphincter and increasing the number of relaxations of this sphincter, including fat, chocolate, peppermint, onions, and coffee. Finally, drinking lots of water throughout the day will help keep things going in the right direction, and at night, raising the head of your bed by four to six inches by placing bricks or wood blocks under the head posts can employ gravity to help keep the acid from creeping up.
None is mine, all from NutritionFacts.org
Wish I had more to share.

Re: BS Banter-For the drivel that belongs no where
have been reading all about alkaline foods last hour.
amazing how many foods I eat are on the naughty list.
here we've had several meals with brussel sprouts over last few months and that is one of the few green foods that are acidic. So we'll be back to broccoli and green beans immediately, and since jadyn and I love green beans from the can, have read raw is best if possible. I know, I know, fresh would be best but no one in the house actually likes fresh green beans but from the can, they don't make it to the dinner table.
thanks for the input guys
pretty sure that after the big stressful week is over next week, things might get better as well.
stress of any kind isn't good for acid reflux

I can do you one better.
She believes that Americans need to PAY reparations to the natives and black people.
She told me she inherited her fathers farm. It was land given to her father by the government after it was gotten from the indians. She sold it in 2004. She told me THAT is the money she lives off of.
I said "why dont you take your money and give it to the indians?"
She was pretty much speechless.

Lansoprazole...AKA Prevacid.
I was put on this in '90s before it was over the counter.. Miraculous!
Once OTC and in generic, I'd buy walmart or DG brand, only 15 Mg, but lasted me 24 hours. Took it till 2016, 20 years!
In 2016 I stopped drinking all soda pop and reduced my food intake by 1/2. Lost over 30 lbs.
I do not get reflux at all anymore. I attrib mostly to not overeating but still have had ZERO soda for 25 months and also reduced coffee to 2 to 3 cups in morn and maybe one in evening (which sux bc it was 3 to 4 PoTs per day

Apple Cider Vinegar has many health benefits.

Top 10 Natural Remedies for Acid Reflux
https://www.apple-cider-vinegar-benefit ... eflux.html
At first glance, vinegar and acid reflux might sound like an unlikely combination until you review the overwhelming positive testimonials published throughout the internet.
Indeed a recent survey on acid reflux conducted at the earth clinic web site ranked apple cider vinegar as the best of all the home remedies suggested to relieve the symptoms of occasional heartburn or acid reflux.
So what is acid reflux and how are vinegar and acid reflux related?
Acid reflux or heartburn occurs when strong stomach acid leaks back up into the esophagus. The esophagus is the tube which carries food from your mouth to your stomach.
vinegar and acid reflux
When you swallow, a circular band of muscle around the bottom part of the esophagus relaxes to allow food and liquid to enter into your stomach.
Normally this muscle valve, called the lower esophageal sphincter (LES), is closed and keeps the digestive acid and food inside the stomach where it belongs.
However if the LES valve opens when it shouldn't, hydrochloric acid from the stomach can reflux back and touch the lining of the esophagus.
This can cause a burning sensation in the chest or throat known as acid reflux or heartburn.
Most people experience the occasional episode of heartburn and although unpleasant, it is generally nothing to worry about. Frequent or constant heartburn however can be a serious problem and is the most common symptom of gastro-esophageal reflux disease (GERD).
Top 10 Natural Remedies for Acid Reflux
1. Apple Cider Vinegar
While it may contradict your intuition to take something as acidic as apple cider vinegar to cure your acid reflux, raw and organic apple cider vinegar works very to bring immediate relief to your acid reflux by facilitating digestion and restoring proper pH to the stomach. When used for medicinal purposes, organic apple cider vinegar is the best.
I'm clearly not very bright.

Re: BS Banter-For the drivel that belongs no where
yeah, I take a tablespoon or two of apple cider vinegar daily, helps for about 20 minutes....haha
my bubbly problem is not soda which is 1 or 2 cans per month, it's that lovely stuff called beer.
and like you said aghead, I too have cut down on coffee, about 3 normal cups in morning, down from a pot of it daily.
I'm going to max out the whole alkaline thing starting today and moving forward, and getting through next week which I know isn't going to be pleasant. Maybe it'll all work out, maybe not.
Had a can of green beans for breakfast, surprised I liked it so much.

because Illinois has so much spare change....haha
lets spend $200 million helping the obama re-education center, I mean his library, get some new roads.....
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2018/06 ... eport.html
Am I the only one who has no interest in a presidential library ?? I mean, if Reagans library were somewhere in IL, I'd still not go see that either. All these politicians view themselves as our country's royalty and that is definitely not the case with me. I might give a ceremonial nod to the federal politician who proposes and helps pass term limits for congressmen and senators
