It turns out Bitconnect is not totally dead. It did lose 90% of its market value, but is still being traded. Bitconnect has closed its lending platform (for good, I assume) but they're holding an ICO for "Bitconnect X" and allowing BCC holders to buy the new coins with the old ones. They're launching a "new, superior" exchange with multiple currencies including BCC and the new coin. How this system will compare to the old, Ponzi-like system, I don't know. I will never own any coin connected with Bitconnect. Is there any accountability for what happened during this: "Dear community members, the current BCC price drop is the direct result of us releasing all of our members coins at one time."

Some of you guys been asking what Cryptos I'm looking to get so here's a quick list of what I'll be buying when they hit exchanges:

Wanchain (WAN) https://wanchain.org/
Zilliqa (ZIL) https://www.zilliqa.com/
Ontology (ONT) https://ont.io/
Seeking a few Rodebaugh Bars. Looking for a series #1, Fat Boy, 2015 100g, & 2012 classic bar. Also collecting the #9 serial on any of his other pieces.

How many do you have to buy to get the discount?

Just enough to cover the trading fees. Buy something like 3 and see how long it lasts you. You still end up saving a little money by doing so. I saw the writing on the wall a while back and bought 100 just so I wouldn't run out with my frequent trading.

Some bad news for some IOTA users. Moral of the story is to not use unauthorized seed generators from unknown/unofficial sources.

Usually I would say DYOR. But this is T.C. - so you ought to buy these hand over fist ;)

ONT & WAN on the radar. Now I need to check out ZIL.

Everyone should ALWAYS do their own DD. I'm no oracle. We'd be here an hour if I tried to list all my crypto mistakes in the last year. WAN dropped the ball on their last AMA so I'm redoing my DD on them again now.

I'm just trying to remember to drop a line here on the forums before I forget. Got vacation on the mind (leaving for a month in the Philippines in a few weeks).

Of course on the DD. Almost all of my crypto mistakes have been related to trading on emotion or selling too early. I sold EOS under $2 after getting frustrated. :x

Have fun on vacation.

It's amazing to go through this thread from start to finish. I remember reading this thread and thinking you guys were all insane. Now I'm trying to mirror just 1/1000th of your success.

FYI guys, I'm going to be reducing my EVX position. If you guys purchased because of me, just letting you guys know. Not just yet, but soon.

Can't say that I did, but others might have. If that's a warning, do you have any more information? It's down quite a bit from its peak, but everything is.

It still has room I'm just letting people know my intention with this is all, like before. Like I said in another thread I'm reducing my exposure to crypto in general because everything came down from peak. If there are any questions PM.

No, I was asking abut EVX in particular. I didn't know you were reacting to the general crypto market, when I asked the question. I did the same thing about reducing exposure in December. At the time, selling BTC at $17,500 was almost heresy, because who would want to miss $20K?

I wasn't in BTC so i missed it. Most of my gains were this month when all that BTC went into alts and now I'm reducing exposure overall including EVX. I'm not exiting everything just reducing all the alts. There's too much pressure globally and more instability ahead. I'm just locking in gains. Like you said in the other one, at $10k we should still be happy, I'm still happy! My personal folio is down ~25% from ATH. Not too far % wise from when you sold ATH, up until now I haven't sold out to fiat. I was up 1500%, now 1200%.. I mentioned it in the btc one too i'm pulling out, so its not EVX in particular. I just posted here because I recommended it. My whole folio is consolidated now for easy liquidity and exit. Also to prep for ETH pos should it happen. In the dot bomb, the "alts" got destroyed. Only the bigs stayed, just going defensive as businesses like capital one start locking down and gov't's doing their thing again. When I was exposed in Alts, getting liquidity at the price i wanted was difficult. Similar to semi-numi/numis and trying to sell fast, you can't. Now when it reaches 10x, I sell some, which was always the plan but I didn't follow it. Plus what really irritates me are these futures and the bankers playing with the coin. Seeing how they manipulated it on the first one, really makes me think they'll take over like they did with silver and gold and put it to the channel they want.

I really like what I'm reading about WAN. I just wish we had more clarity on when/what exchanges it'll be offered on. I want to be sitting in ETH when that puppy hits the exchange.
