I know there are a lot of different prototype bars out there that could be included as well with me having almost 10 prototype bars myself. I just felt like that is getting into the weeds a little bit.
I know that YPS has done work for Maggie's, Ericson Mint, CMG, HAC Mint, Shiny Bars, and others. So I decided to limit the database to production bars that YPS has branded as his bars and sells himself.
I just wanted to keep my database I put together as a pure YPS Brand database.
First of all THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for doing this. Since it is your effort you can do it any way you like.
I thought the old YPS site was going to be the catalog site and have wondered why that never happened.
Regarding adding "third-party" stuff...... aren't the Silver Slacker bars "third party" stuff?????? Personally I think a good cut off would be any bars that were available for sale on the YPS site which would include at least the single CMG bar and all the Ericsson Mint YPS bars.
Really serious YPS collectors are already saving info on the prototypes and Maggie's bars. I'm relatively new to this site so I did not even know about the Maggie's YPS bars until the last KSA. They are definitely desirable YPS bars judging by the prices they brought. The Ericsson Mint bars made by YPS and the single CMG Teddy Bear are all really cool bars so they are definitely deserving of a listing on the database in my opinion.
No matter how you decide to finish it off we all appreciate your effort!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have watched every one of your YouTube videos though I'm not a subscriber. I stopped subscribing to any YouTube site once I learned you cannot ever delete a subscription! Anyway keep doing what you are doing! and thanks again for your efforts!
Thanks for the kind words! Just an FYI you can always unsubscribe to a YouTube channel if you like (I have done it multiple times). Not sure why you are having issues with that.
Also my bars have always been released by YPS directly and are stamped YPS on them. You won't find that with CMG or Ericson Mint bars that are made by YPS but released and marketed by those companies. Not to take away from those pours but like I said in my previous statement where do I stop and draw the line for the database as far as what is considered a YPS bar and what isn't.....
