coin star finds...
Just was passing by a machine with over a dollar's worth of change . I got a silver 64 Rosie, a '99 Canadian dime and a copper penny. All others were clad.
Damned droid.
Anyone else get lucky?

Good for you. Do you just ask for it and they give it to you?

No. Lol. The coins are in the return and say "Lynn, take us home."

Sometimes the transaction finishes before all the coins are counter especially if there's a bunch of tokens and other crap loaded in there. You can hear the coins churning in the machine so I don't know why people wouldn't wait the extra minute.

Re: coin star finds...
Hope you find your kitty . . . Must be a CA thing with the Coin Stars. I always sneak-a-peek as I walk past one and have only found 11¢ . . . a zinc cent & clad dime glued together with some un-recognizable sticky funk.
