Sounds very cool. I'm scheduled to go in Feb 2020. A year away but I'm already excited.

I hear Petra is an interesting place to visit

Hi lads , just back from Israel, bad news I don't have any shells or anything from sea of Galilee. Weather up until last Thursday's was the worst they have had for 50 years , snow fell on Golan heights on the Tuesday of same week . Sea of Galilee has never been so full in recent years , beach and shore where I was is now just reeds and grass , and very murky water . Sorry for let down lads . Blame God or global warming

I've been to Israel many times when I used to live in this property in Greece. It was cheap to fly to Tel Aviv so sometimes I used to go there just for a weekend. Really interesting country with lots of things to see and to do.
