Just picked up 100 ASE's for $15 bucks each! Same guy sold me 2200 War Nickels for $1000 a few months ago. I love meeting people at garage sales and the swap meet

Do you have pics of the oversize Silver Eagle? That doesn't sound right.

I am thinking he has an oversized maple
I prefer payment in crypto: LTC, ETH AND BTC. Also accept Google Wallet, Zelle , Postal Money Orders, and Personal Checks. Shipping prices do not include insurance. If you want insurance/registered mail, it's always extra.

Haha, it's an oversized maple, not an eagle. I got everything checked out and they're all legit. Here are the pictures.

I stoped by a we buy/sell gold place while on vacation and the sign on the door read Running Late Don't wait.
On my way out to the car a lady pulls in and asked if the place was open.
I said Nope, the sign on the door reads Running Late Don't Wait and headed to my car.
I thought what the heck, I should see if she's selling as I was looking g to buy.
I went back and asked and sure enough she had some silver to sell (coins I asked?)
YES, she said and handed me a quart sized Ziploc bag with coins.
I asked How Much?
Make an offer she said, so I see $5 face value in larger coins.
SO $40?
And she sticks out her hand.

YPS eBay win today

Took a chance on a 1 oz skull listed on eBay , pic wasn’t great - couldn’t tell for sure but wondered if it was an earlier version.

Nine times out of ten, this wouldn’t work out for me ...
but scored myself a V2 (skull on left) :D

Probably not as impressive as my 1995-W Silver Eagle, but still quite the score! An Alexander Westerfall custom made piece, made in 1977! Usually only AW bars are seen, neat piece!

Got lucky at a local swap meet. Bowl on a table had some .900 Mexican 5 pesos. Sign says $3 for 10, so I ask if they are fakes. Guy acts like he doesn't speak much English and shrugs his shoulders. So I tap one with another and it rings silver  I go to grab 10 of 'em and he all the sudden speaks decent English "No, no. $10 for 3. $10 for three." I hand him $20, take 6 coins, and told him to find a dealer for the rest of them(there are several there at the same swap meet)

I don't normally buy silver like this, I'll have to admit it felt kinda dirty. One has to wonder how all this stuff ends up at swap meets. There is definitely honest hardworking vendors there, but some shady characters and goods too.

Don't feel bad, you paid the asking price.
Let us know if they check out silver and don't stick to a magnet.
