Modern day sheriff in Montana

Copper - set in the 1860's - about an Irish cop in New York City

The 100 - set in the future and about a group of people that return to earth years after a nuclear war

all 3 are pretty fun to watch

Longmire season 4 starts on netflix this week

A few off the top of my head:

The last ship - doomsday action adventure stuff
Stitchers - sci fi drama that wives can tolerate
Young and hungry - funny chick flick that husbands can tolerate
The year 2017: Where words and ideas are considered too hateful to be said,
while riots and assault are considered too peaceful to be prosecuted.

The Life and Crimes of Doris Payne

How does a poor, single, African-American mother from segregated 1950s America wind up as one of the worlds most notorious jewel thieves? A glamorous 81-year-old, Doris Payne is as unapologetic today about the nearly $2 million in jewels she's stolen over a 60-year career as she was the day she stole her first carat. With Payne now on trial for the theft of a department store diamond ring, filmmakers Kirk Marcolina and Matthew Pond probe beneath her consummate smile to uncover the secrets of her trade and what drove her to a life of crime. Romanticized recreations, an extensive archive and candid interviews reveal how Payne managed to jet-set her way into any Cartier or Tiffanys from Monte Carlo to Japan and walk out with small fortunes. This sensational portrait exposes a rebel who defies society's prejudices and pinches her own version of the American Dream.

Dark matter , Its actually Not Bad for a Canadian sifi series , just finished the first season last night, didn't even realize it was a Canadian show until I started seeing some Canadian actors lol.

"Why Syfy's Dark Matter is well worth your time"

Syfy space opera Dark Matter caught many off-guard with just how interesting its first season became. Here's why you should watch it...

Unlike shows burdened with such labels as “much-anticipated”, Dark Matter arrived on SyFy under the radar, its cloak engaged and its silent running protocol fully implemented.

Created by Joseph Mallozzi and Paul Mullie, both of whom worked on the various Stargate shows, the series is based on a comic novel published by Dark Horse Comics. The premise is the sort that TV execs in the seventies loved, ideas you can explain in their entirety on a single lung of air: six people wake from hyper-sleep aboard a spacecraft they’re not familiar with, their minds blanked. Are they good, bad, or a bit of both?

The series was renewed for a 13-episode second season on September 1, 2015

The Wrecking Crew

"A celebration of the musical work of a group of session musicians known as "The Wrecking Crew", a band that provided back-up instrumentals to such legendary recording artists as Frank Sinatra, The Beach Boys and Bing Crosby."

Too bad it's gone. Netflix won't carry it any longer and I'm not sure they've made any more episodes.

The Librarians is a bit like warehouse 13

The Rocky movies are up on netflix, well worth watching if it's been a while. My 11 yr old daughter and I are enjoying watching them together as we've wanted to do since seeing Creed. It pleases me that she's loving them as much as I do.

Ditto about declining quality of Netflix offerings. Lots of Brit TV series shows, but the movie offerings are getting overpopulated with one-star and two-star dogs.
