The site will be down for about an hour (according to the host) on Wednesday morning starting at 5am EST.

We've been using WiredTree for several years and they were recently bought out by LiquidWeb. I hope the service continues to meet our needs. The email below has all the details if anyone is interested. They're upgrading our specs and 100GB is a lot server space. Perhaps we can increase the image limits for uploads.

Hello,

We are ready to upgrade your server and services. We are thrilled to have you join our Liquid Web family and have a dedicated migrations team to make your upgrade as smooth as possible. Our migration specialists are ready to start the process of moving your sites to our Liquid Web data center on April 5 at 5:00am ET AM EST.

While we know that moving your data can make you nervous, we are excited to offer important enhancements to your hosting services including improved security features, guaranteed network availability, and industry-leading SLAs and guarantees at no cost to you.

We are pleased to offer the following customized upgrades and services to you:

Intel® Xeon® Processor E5620
100G of RAID protected disk space
2G of RAM
3 days of Storm Backups
1 Additional IP address
Unlimited incoming bandwidth and 5TB of outgoing bandwidth.
LiquidWeb's ServerSecure Product

We have developed a migration process that will move the entire Operating System of your current server over to your new infrastructure. This includes all server settings, files, and configurations. IPs and traffic will be moved to the new server as well. There is some downtime while this copy occurs, generally around 60 minutes or so. We will do all that we can to minimize any impact. Once complete, your WiredTree server will be disabled and all traffic will flow to your new Liquid Web server. No other changes will be needed on your end as the IP addresses for all your sites will remain the same.

We have scheduled your migration to begin at April 5 at 5:00am ET AM EST. Please let us know if you would like to schedule the migration to take place at a more convenient time for you and we would be happy to reschedule.

Once complete, you will have full access to Liquid Web support via live chat, phone, and tickets as well as full access to all Liquid Web has to offer.

At this time, we have the information we need to start your upgrade. Please let us know if you have any questions.

Unacceptable! I demand a refund! And don't you try and get Helen W. to handle this complaint, I already spoke with her and she was less than pleasant.

Helen's not very happy with me right now. I hear she's getting rid of a special memento I sent her.

Reminder: Bullionstacker will be offline for ~1.5 hours tomorrow morning at 5am ET.

Hello,

The final sync of your WiredTree content to your upgraded server is scheduled for April 5, 2017 at 5:00am ET. We will copy the entire file system from the source server so that all content is up to date. Your IP addresses will be moved to the new server. You will not need to change any DNS records.

You should expect approximately 1.5 hours of downtime during this process, though this can take longer depending on the amount and type of content being moved. After the sync is complete, you will have full access to all Liquid Web support and services.

If you need to reschedule this time, please contact us. We will work to accommodate your request. If not, we will update you again shortly as we start your Go Live Event.

In the meantime, please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.

liquidweb has been around for awhile. I remember when those guys back on webhostingtalk back in the early 00's. As long as you're going to new hardware the site will be fine, if not faster.
