This doesn't seem to work from your pictures on your hard drive or am I doing something wrong?
I do the upload attachment but still get the message:

The image must be at least 0 pixels wide, 0 pixels high and at most 580 pixels wide and 580 pixels high. The submitted image is 1175 pixels wide and 580 pixels high.

Perhaps I am doing something incorrect but, it doesn't seem to want to work. I'm trying to use my smart phone to post (it is all I ever use now) and I'm not having luck.

Here's what you posted:

Code: Select all

You have both img and fitimg tags in there. Got to get rid of img, and html. It should look like this:

Code: Select all

[fitimg]http://i725.photobucket.com/albums/ww256/thechainshoppe/Mobile%20Uploads/20151005_175132_zpsu4xnvbj8_edit_1444133734239_zpswwhchnfy.jpg[/fitimg]

No, it doesn't work for images on your hard drive. They need to be hosted somewhere.

Doesn't seem to be too friendly for a smart phone without having to remove some of the code after copy and paste.

Doesn't seem to like DropBox. It calls on the URL but doesn't show the image.

How did I do that tricking thing?

This fitimg function seems to love PhotoBucket, but for DropBox just shows a big square with a question mark in the middle. Perhaps I'm doing something wrong.

I'm not familiar with dropbox but just did some research and it looks like images need to be in your dropbox "public" folder if you want to post them elsewhere.

You're copying the wrong link. Looks like you copied the Dropbox page url instead of the image url. In Firefox, just right click on the image, select "Copy Image Location," and paste that mess between the [fitimg] tags.

It will look like this:

Code: Select all

[fitimg]https://photos-1.dropbox.com/t/2/AABpyPfJQmL2S-lg_Ala6eR-R8Mlgc6LD4yBVOGfMRWGTA/12/263265542/jpeg/32x32/3/1473112800/0/2/3gold.jpg/ELDzlPYBGIYCIAcoBw/TXK3PzEebYyMnhgUWX5oRCjljaJm3KKLLiw7WZu-0lo?size_mode=3&dl=0&size=1024x768[/fitimg]

and display like this:

Well how about that. I was copying the DropBox sharing link. Thanks!

You can actually drag and drop images from your computer now. They need to be no larger than 750k and 1000x1000 pixels.

-Make sure you're in the Full Editor, not Quick Reply

-Click the "Attachments" tab below the editor window

-Drag and drop the image into the editor window

-Click the "Place Inline" button

-Preview to verify the image
