2016 Purple Santa - Lackland AFB

The 2016 Purple Santa event was last week at Lackland AFB San Antonio , Texas. This is a note from the new Wheelers for the Wounded President.

"Yesterday’s Purple Santa was a great success! Thank you for everyone’s help and donations! Your efforts have helped over 50 military families this year.

The party included activities for the kids, lunch, a visit with Santa and they were allowed to open one gift at the activity. The majority of the gifts went home with the parents to place under the tree for Christmas morning. There were some awesome gifts and every child received just what they had asked for.

Thank you everyone again! Your efforts have brightened the Christmas morning for al lot of military kids that have often had to spend Christmas morning Skyping their deployed parents in place of having them there in person.
