Hey guys!

This thread is so nice, thank you for your interest in DBET :D

If any of you would like invites to the slack, please email me at jkochen@decent.bet !

I will probably honestly not check my PMs on this account often, just dropping in to say high, thank you, and supply some info!

Bitplus, the exchange that will offer FIAT:CRYPTO in the realm of JPY/USD to ETH/BTC/LTC/DBET, will be released very soon! We will also have an affiliate link as well.

Also, some people were worried about our token supply recently, so we now have decent.bet/token/info

Thanks again for the support. It made my day to see this thread made. :)

I don't mind a difference of opinion. Could you please elaborate on why "we" are so stupid? I find your argument above rather unconvincing.

Cough, still waiting, cough.

DBET likely to go live on one or two exchanges (other than Ether Delta) in the next week or two.

I don't dabble in the gambling coins or know much about them, but if I did I would rejoice at being insulted by Tom. What greater omen of success could there be?

This is from a Wall St Daily article (which is selling some product to be unveiled in the future), and while it is an annoying info-mercial type article, the data are still relevant:
https://www.wallstreetdaily.com/2017/09/25/online-gambling-market-11-year-growth-trajectory/

Believe it or not, online gambling is a $40 billion industry and growing fast. The industry’s expansion is absolutely insane. The numbers are even more mind-boggling when you consider the two major drawbacks of online gambling — transparency and cost.

There’s absolutely no way to be sure an online casino is playing fair. Sadly, outright fraud is commonplace. At the same time, unfriendly (but not illegal) rules can run up the house’s edge as high as 15%. Add in the high transaction costs — and delays of using credit cards, debit cards or bank transfers — and it’s astonishing that so many people still choose to gamble online. They’re truly making a sucker’s bet.

But the Blockchain holds the power to true-up the gambling industry. By running games on Ethereum “smart contracts,” there is literally no technical possibility for the casino to cheat. Once the gambling industry optimizes smart contracts, every single penny and random number generated — on all games of chance — can be verified by users.

If we can solve the house cheating issue, solve the speed problems of the ETH network with off-state channels, solve the fiat-crypto problem, and solve the access to funds problem this will be a huge winner. The question is, can DBET solve all these problems? They are on track to do so; we shall see.

The 2003 Aussie Poker Champion, Peter Costa talks about his future in this article (from 2012):

https://www.pokernews.com/news/2012/01/where-are-they-now-2003-aussie-millions-champ-peter-costa-11784.htm

I suppose I want to be in a position where I can promote the games. I think combining these two passions will be the ultimate inspiration to perhaps coming back and achieving something special in the game. I am currently exploring a couple of options that may well just see this coming together.

Here is the Alpha version for the sportsbook betting software. I woke up this morning to see DBET up over 70% and that is only on 7 BTC daily volume on Cryptopia. Once DBET gets on a few larger exchanges this is going to be very bullish. Nearly 30 cents per DBET (ICO was 10 cents). 2018 is going to be a great year for DBET.

DBET is now on another exchange: YoBit.
https://yobit.net/en/trade/DBET/BTC

Not a headliner exchange or anything, but still progress. And the price has spiked up on Cryptopia to over $0.40 for now. ICO was at 10 cents so we are doing well. I am super bullish on DBET; this team is amazing.

My pleasure. We're just getting warmed up. This will be the best crypto gaming platform for the future so far as I can tell.

Is there anyway to predict when an altcoin will be traded on a new exchange?

Not really. Most crypto projects keep exchange listings close-hold. Sometimes that is due to NDAs (non-disclosure agreements) that the exchanges require. Sometimes a team will tell you that an exchange will list "next week" or soon - but they almost always won't specify which exchange - unless there is a specific agreement in place between the exchange and the crypto project.

Many people believe Ripple will get listed on Coinbase. That might be true but I have no way to verify that, and I won't buy it regardless.

DBET has just recently released the public TestNets for the Sports Book and their House. Add that to the slots TestNet already released and they appear to be on track for official release by the 31MAR18 deadline (end of Q1).

WGR was supposed to release their Wallet & TestNet two days ago, but they had problems implementing the imported ZeroCoin protocol they were trying to copy from PIVX usage. Should be interesting to see how that pans out.
