Yep, as soon as I saw his tweet I dismissed any legitimacy in Litecoin Cash or anything of the sort.

Well, we didn't quite have the momentum to hold above the 165 and it looks like 150 may be slipping now. 110 triple bottom, anyone?

No, what's that take?
I prefer payment in crypto: LTC, ETH AND BTC. Also accept Google Wallet, Zelle , Postal Money Orders, and Personal Checks. Shipping prices do not include insurance. If you want insurance/registered mail, it's always extra.

No, what's that take?

Well, I found a tutorial for setting up a Raspberry Pi 3B as a full node.

https://medium.com/the-litecoin-school- ... 78d4da1af5

It seems pretty simple and I would love to support the network that I believe in. It appears you need a Pi with a Micro SD of 32GB and an internet connection. Sounds like my kind of project!

It's pretty easy.. You don't really need 32GB, you can get away with 16GB and get a bigger disk drive. I have BitcoinCash node on mine, but want to try lightning

The tutorial I referenced doesn't make use of a disk drive. So is the blockchain downloaded onto the SD card? They don't really explain that part of the setup. Thanks for the info Silverpv.

Then you would need 32GB. Litecoin probably doesn't have a big ledger. Bitcoin ledger is 150GB so it won't fit. I also mounted my NAS drive for plex and for any other node to use the storage.

Before you do that, go to the reddit and confirm the size of the ledger. Last thing you want is to run out of space.

I am excitable (I know, patience grasshopper) but it was pretty crazy seeing the price just explode in only a few minutes like that.

So, I believe I have my Raspberry Pi 3 full node up and running. My terminal window shows what looks to me like peer searches? It is counting up in numerical order and if I input "litecoin-cli getinfo" or "litecoin-cli getnetworkinfo" in a new terminal window it says I have 8 connections. I stopped the client and restarted it and it said I had 2 connections, then 7, now 8 so I guess it's communicating. The peers are counting up in blocks also, currently at 1371340. This is all very, very new to me so if anyone has any good pointers I am all ears. It's like looking at the screens from The Matrix lol. On the upside, I did pull off getting my miners AND the full node running (assuming it actually is running) on the same RPi.

Just one more reason to call Visa and tell them to suck it. It is a setback for Litecoin mass adoption, but it won't stop what is coming for the corrupt banks.

Can you run multiple nodes on a Pi? Bitcoin & Litecoin, maybe Quantum?
